The Danish version prevails.
Who is responsible
Dyrholm Digital, hej@localhost, is the data controller.
What we process and why
- Your documents (condition report, electrical report, energy label): to deliver the service. Legal basis: the contract with you. The documents contain the seller's name and address, which we minimise: we do not store extracted names.
- Your email if you give it or pay: to send the summary, the receipt and the report, and for support. Legal basis: the contract. Marketing emails only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Payment details: handled by Stripe. We store the amount, the invoice number and your email for bookkeeping. Legal basis: the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
- Technical data: a hashed IP address and a browser id to limit abuse, and cookieless analytics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe service.
Processors
Hosting and database in the EU, file storage in the EU, Stripe (payments), an email provider in the EU for the mails we send you, Google Workspace for our support mailbox (Google Ireland, under Google's data processing terms and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), and the AI provider that reads the documents. We have data processing agreements with every processor. The AI provider is configured so that your documents are not used to train models, and processes them in the EU. Before the text of a report is sent to the AI, we remove names, phone numbers, email addresses and CPR numbers from it. If we ever use a provider outside the EU, we will do so only under an EU transfer mechanism (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses) and update this page first. The list of processors is available on request.
Use of AI
The explanations in the summary and the report are generated by an AI model from the text of your reports and checked by fixed rules. The verdict, the counts and the amounts are computed by code, never by the model. Every piece of AI text is marked as such in the report. The report is information to help you ask the right questions; it is not a decision about you and has no legal effect on its own. Cases our checks cannot verify are reviewed by a person before you see them.
Retention
Documents, extracted text and reports are deleted 90 days after upload. Payment records are kept for 5 years. You can delete your data at any time with the "Delete my data" button on your case page or the link in every email.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection. Write to hej@localhost. You can complain to Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk.
Cookies
Three strictly necessary cookies, nothing else: "tjek_case" remembers your case (90 days), "locale" remembers your language (1 year), and "tjek_client" is an anonymous id that limits abuse of the free service (1 year). Statistics run through Plausible without cookies and without identifying you. Strictly necessary cookies need no consent under the ePrivacy rules, so the small notice you see once is information, not a consent form. If we ever add a cookie that needs consent, you will be asked first.
